About

Rodor Intelligence is a New York company founded by Jay Reshamwala, who spent twenty years building commerce technology inside the U.S. fine jewelry trade.

The stone tower of 580 Fifth Avenue rises above its arched shopfronts at the corner of West 47th Street at dusk, with lit windows and an empty crosswalk.

Story

01

The problem, seen from inside

For twenty years, our founder worked at every layer of the U.S. fine jewelry trade: online retail, manufacturing, wholesale, and regulated buyback.

From the inside, one problem never went away: nobody could tell a consumer, quickly and independently, what a piece of jewelry is worth. Cars have a trusted price guide. Homes have public estimates. Jewelry has opacity, and opacity is where consumers get hurt.

02

Why AI, why now

Solving it took three things arriving at once: AI that can work in the language of gemology, computer vision that can see what a grader sees, and a proprietary, structured record of real transactions deep enough to build on.

Rodor's platform runs them as a multi-layer pipeline around that dataset. This is a purpose-built system, not a general-purpose chatbot wearing a jewelry skin, and it keeps learning: custom models train on real-world feedback as the platform grows.

03

What Rodor builds

We build the intelligence layer for the jewelry economy: valuation models and verification systems today, with provenance infrastructure in development, delivered as professional tools for the trade and free tools for consumers.

Our first platform is JRA.

Mission

Our mission is simple to say and hard to build: make every jewelry transaction in America transparent (the price, the grade, the history).

We measure ourselves against one standard: would we trust this number ourselves?
